BRYT Skincare

Hello all, hope you're all doing good and enjoying these warmer days. This post is dedicated  to BRYT Skincare, I was kindly sent a sample of the Boost Serum in May from BRYT Skincare Ireland to try and review.

The background to BRYT:

Before I go into my thoughts on the serum, here is some information on the science/ingredients behind the skincare.

BRYT Skincare is a new range that is launching in Ireland, this new range combines natural antioxidants with the latest science to deliver clean, high-tech skincare that packs a punch. It is very affordable with price ranging from €16.00-€23.00

It is free from sulphates and chemical nasties, it is the next generation of botanical beauty for women and men, treating, conserving and preserving all skin types from youthful complexions through to mature skin in need of extra nourishment and protection against the ageing process.

The range contains antioxidants which encourage skin to detoxify, exfoliate and regenerate while simultaneously soothing, calming and moisturising. The range utilises sophisticated botanical ingredients which are beneficial for all ages and penetrate deep into the lower epidermis, this is the outer of the two layers that make up the skin.

It is packed with these super ingredients:
    •   Wild-harvested organic Kakadu, Burdekin and IIIawarra plums from the Australian Outback. To put this into context these are packed with five times the antioxidant power of blueberries to protect, detoxify and exfoliate.
    •  Aloe Vera in its purest form to soothe and calm.
    • Nature-mimicking Alantoin which is found naturally in Comfrey roots (confrey is a plant) and is used to heal.

"Aromatherapy meets Phytoscience in this breakthrough range, ideal for those who appreciate natural, yet high-tech skincare. The range utilises sophisticated botanical ingredients which are beneficial for all ages and penetrate deep into the lower epidermis to leave skin feeling clean and super soft."

My Thoughts:

I have been using the boost serum for over a month now,  as I wanted to give it a good trail before I wrote a review. I have been using serums the last couple of years and I really like them, it's all part of me investing in my skincare routine. Of course good skin is also achieved by healthy diet and lifestyle, all  these elements combined will have a positive impact on the condition of your skin.

The Boost Serum is for tired and dehydrated skin. That is exactly where my skin was at. Working in an office, daily pollution and having young children are all factors that impacted on the condition of my skin.

Before I started using the serum I had  dry patches on my face and when I applied foundation it was more noticeable. I applied the serum every night and I have noticed a difference, my skin is more hydrated and not as tired looking. You can also apply the serum during the day if  required.

You only need to sue a tiny amount of product. I have been using the serum nightly for over a month now and I have only used a small amount of serum.

It smells divine, literally like a Spa, you know that beautiful relaxing smell that you get in a Spa,when the oils are burning or when you get a facial done. This also makes it feel like a real treat to the skin.

The main scent I get when using the serum is the essential oils which I love. I also rub the remnants of the serum into my hands, great for improving the condition of your hands and nails.

Upon application the serum left my skin feeling clean, soft and fresh, it is also very gentle to the skin. This range is perfect for those who prefer a natural skin care product.

BRYT Skincare advocates a simple 3-step process of Cleansing, Nourishing and Protecting to maintain an uncomplicated yet effective regime. You can purchase BRYT Skincare on Beauty Boutique. The boost serum is €23.25. I would recommend having a look at the products yourself, then find what suits your skin and give it a go.

BRYT also also have a skincare range for Men,

Flormar Revolution Lipstick In Burgundy Mission

These are the three berry colours available    I was delighted to receive a sample of the Revolution lipstick in burgundy mission, along with the lip liner to match. These were Kindly sent from RDC Communications . Flormar  was launched this year in Ireland and it has proven to be a huge success and a popular choice for those who want affordability and quality.  I tested this lipstick out over Christmas, as I am trying to be more adventurous and try out stronger colours, as I normally tend to stick with nude tones. This lipstick is a rich berry colour with blue undertones, having these undertones makes your teeth appear whiter.   "Revolution is Flormar premium lipstick containing shea butter, cocoa, olives, a super pigment and easy 8 hr staying power" . Swatch of lipstick and liner  Application Tips: Before application ensure your lips are in good condition especially in this harsh weather. Exfoliate to remove any dry skin and apply vase

Hello all, I hope you enjoyed reading my first venue feature as I am really enjoying it. I have felt so welcomed by the venues that I have visited so far.  Please feel free to share and spread the word if this feature is of interest to any engaged couples you know. (These posts are not sponsored) and you can also follow my blog on    Facebook   |   Instagram   | Twitter  |  Snapchat  |  Pinterest On Thursday 2nd  June I went to visit venue number two, the breathtaking Ardgillan Castl e. Located between Balbriggan & Skerries. If you have ever visited here you will understand what I mean. Everytime I go to Ardgillan I literally fall in love with it all over again. Whether I go for coffee in the tea rooms, bring my daughters to the  playground or just walk around the grounds. I adore it and Ardgillan was recently featured on Lovin Dublin as the best park in Dublin to visit, now that's pretty cool. So onto the beautiful Castle, I met with Ann-Marie and Danielle and we chatt

Finally Contouring is getting the push

Anyone else as happy as me to see that contouring is not as popular in the makeup world. I personally could never get used to it. I think it looks amazing in photographers or on a night out when done right. If you prefer a more heavy look. I believe strobing has been around before it was just called highlighting then. So do not be confused!!! For me I prefer a more natural look when it comes to makeup. The whole idea with strobing is that you can see the skin and it is not heavily covered up.  I have been using the Mac Strobe Cream for a few months now. You can also strobe with powder.  Mary-Loumanizer by the Balm Mac Soft and Gentle  What I like about Mac Strobe? It makes the skin look radiant, fresh and healthy (for tired Mammies like me it's a must) It's easily applied. It's a no fuss product, there is no messing with it. It can be worn alone or added after foundation is applied. With some blush you are good to go.  Lo
