My Top Four Wedding Trends

My latest  post as featured on David Moore Wedding Photographer  for this post I want to share with you my top 4 wedding trends, that I am really liking. If you’re in the planning stages of your wedding these are worth looking at.

The way a wedding is planned and the choices a couple make have totally changed over the last few years. Brides and grooms are more open to doing it all differently and stepping away from the norm of what a weeding day used to be and what guests even see it as. I think brides and grooms are taking more risks, being creative and are thinking outside the box.

But always remember you do not always have to follow the trends. Find what works for you as a couple and go with it. Any questions just put them on the comment section.

Mixed Centerpieces:
Gone are the days when all centerpieces had to match. Play around with the designs e.g. different size vases, different styles of floral arrangements.

Seating:
Move away from the traditional when it comes to seating. Have no table plan, no top table, mix up the style of table round, rectangle and ditch the chair covers. Go on and try something different.

Personalised Cocktails:

This sounds very fun. Crate your own cocktail and have it served at your reception. Make it your first drink as a Married couple. How much fun would be the tasting for this one.

Signage:
Add an extra element by adding some cool signage to your wedding day. This can bring some quirkiness to your wedding or it can be a good conversation starter between guests, it can also be something very special like a quote that means something special to you as a couple.

Alternative Hen Party Ideas

Hello all, for this post, I am going to share some fabulous alternative hen party ideas. This post has been on my to-do list for a long time now, if you're stuck on ideas for something different then don't worry because I have you covered, from Gin School to Glamping and everything in between. These venues and activities will ease the stress of planning so enjoy the read. Organising a hen party can be a very difficult and tiring task. If you have been tasked as the hen party organiser you probably have a sense of the pressure already. My top tip is to make the whole planning process as easy as possible for yourself, especially if you're not used to planning and organising. The venue and activities that you choose will help take that stress away so ensure that you choose well. Also bear in mind that the Bride needs to feel special and relaxed. Even if there is mayhem going on in the background don't let her see it. Listoke Distillery & Gin School:...

Kiehl's Apothecary Preparations Review

Image from Kiehl's website Hello all, this post is dedicated to Kiehl's Apothecary Preparations. What is that I hear you ask? Apothecary preparations is a high level of Personalized skincare. It addresses the following skincare concerns: WRINKLE REDUCTION TEXTURE REFINING VISIBLE REDNESS NEUTRALIZING PORE MINIMIZING BRIGHTENING I find the older I get (mid-thirties ouch) the more focused I am on my skin, I have invested in my skincare more than I used to, by adding in some high-end products. I believe in paying for a good serum. Although this product was kindly sent to me to try out, all views expressed are my own. In terms of using Kiehl's, this is my first time to use the brand and I was really intrigued to see what it was like on the skin. Kiehls as a brand has been active since 1851 so I think it's safe to say that they know what they are doing and they know what works. This range takes the brand back to its roots of creating persona...

Boyne Hill House Estate Your Exclusive Wedding Venue

Hello all, I am back with my Wedding Venue Feature. I will be putting the spotlight on different venues that I know you are going to love. The last feature I did went down really well so I decided to do it again, sure any excuse to go visit venues and I am gone. Recently I visited   Boyne Hill House Estate this exclusive wedding venue has been on my radar for a while, so I was very excited to go visit it. Boyne Hill Hosue is located in the picturesque surroundings of Co.Meath, it dates back to the 18th Century so you can just imagine the charm and history that it beholds. The drive up to the Estate is very beautiful and tranquil. I couldn't help but picture how a couple would feel making their way up to the Estate. If I had all the good feelings about it I know a lot of newly engaged couples will. When you drive up the roadway to the Estate, the historic house peaks out from the woodlands. I will a...
