Cocoa Brown Bronzing Gel & 1 Hour Tan Mousse

I finally got my hands on the new Cocoa Brown Matte Bronzing Gel, I also purchased the 1 Hour Tan Mousse and double-sided pink velvet tanning mitt online from Cloud10 Beauty. The cost for each item is as follows, tanning mitt €5.99, mousse tan €7.99 and bronzing gel €6.99. The price point is super affordable.Marissa Carter is the creator of this brand and she is one fabulous Women.

I have been tanning for many years so I know what works for my skin. I apply tan religiously on a weekly basis, as I always feel better with a glow. Generally I like a golden tan, as that is how I would naturally tan. I have three tanning products that I go between and Cocoa Brown is one of them.

Cocoa Brown tan is perfect for putting on and heading straight out the door. It does not have the heavy tan smell that normally comes with developing or instant tan. My Husband has become an expert back tanner at this stage. He thought the mousse was lighter than my usual tan but when he applied it he noticed dark brown flecks in the mouse, they enhanced the colour of the tan as it develops.

Firstly I applied the one hour tan mousset and then after it developed I applied the bronzing gel over it. The gel is dark and goes on very smoothly and evenly, the scent is really nice too and it feels like applying a light moisturiser. The deluxe tanning mitt is fab, the double sided applicator makes it much easier to apply tan and it is super soft. I can also confirm that it does block the tan from going onto your hands (so no nasty brown stains).

Before and after pictures are below of my legs. It's hard to pick up the true colour on camera, but you can see a noticable differance. I really liked the result I got from using these two products together and my legs had a lovely glow.

Before

After

I would definitely recommend these products, but if you like your tan really dark I am not sure you would be happy with the golden brown result. For this tan to last you would need to reapply after two days. You can purchase Cocoa Brown products from Cloud 10, pharmacies and in Penneys of course.

As the Cocoa Brown ladies say "happy tanning".

Kiehl's Apothecary Preparations Review

Image from Kiehl's website Hello all, this post is dedicated to Kiehl's Apothecary Preparations. What is that I hear you ask? Apothecary preparations is a high level of Personalized skincare. It addresses the following skincare concerns: WRINKLE REDUCTION TEXTURE REFINING VISIBLE REDNESS NEUTRALIZING PORE MINIMIZING BRIGHTENING I find the older I get (mid-thirties ouch) the more focused I am on my skin, I have invested in my skincare more than I used to, by adding in some high-end products. I believe in paying for a good serum. Although this product was kindly sent to me to try out, all views expressed are my own. In terms of using Kiehl's, this is my first time to use the brand and I was really intrigued to see what it was like on the skin. Kiehls as a brand has been active since 1851 so I think it's safe to say that they know what they are doing and they know what works. This range takes the brand back to its roots of creating persona...
