So I have setup a Snapchat account. My username is maryroche2. If you're on it add me,now I cannot promise it will be all exciting but you know that's life!!
It does take time to get used to and the feeling of talking to yourself, is all very random. What I have learned, do not take yourself too seriously, be natural and be you and anything that is forced or fake will comes across. I will admit it does take a few goes to get the whole talking into the phone right. Then there is the thought of "do I really sound like that".
I tried out Snapchat a few months ago but I did not take to it. At the time I was focusing on setting up my blog and instagram account. So now I think I can handle it better. The only worry with Snapchat as with all social media platforms, is the addiction. So trying to switch off can become hard. On a positive note, it is another avenue for promotion, networking, it is instant and is great for general messing.
Some of my favourite snapchat users so far are:
@jamespatrice: Is a blogger and he I fashion editor for MFI Magazine. He just makes me laugh,it's that simple. He also has the most amazing brows (#browenvy). He has made his mother "Fron" famous with his sneaky snaps of her. He just cracks me up and I love that he does not take himself too seriously.
@anouskapb: Her snaps are very elegant (if that's a thing) she is also a blogger and keen traveler. She is an amazing photographer. She is just so natural and effortless, her style is also beautiful.
@marissacarter: Marissa Carter is well known as the creator and founder of Cocoa Brown Tan. I admire her honesty, the real connection she develops with people on her snapchat, she is open ,positive and is a powerhouse when it comes to business. Always inspiring and looking ahead to develop her brand.Makes following my own dream and having the ambition to achieve it seem more real.
Love & Sparkle
