It's all in the detail- take two

Image result for wedding planning

Back in July I wrote up a post called It's all in the detail  it has proven to be very popular with you. Taking this into account, I decided to expand on it and do a part two. For this post I have selected some wedding vendors. Some we used for our wedding and others I have come across and I think you may like them.

So first up Lovin Letters. I only wish this company was around when I was getting married. I am obsessed with them. They are an Irish Company and will definitely add some HOLLYWOOD to your wedding. Anyone remember the film Burlesque with Christina Aguilera and those big letters, well  I loved that feature and this is what Lovin Letters reminds of !!!

They are just fabulous and there are loads of different options e.g love or the initials of you and your partner or Mr & Mrs / Mrs & Mrs or Mr & Mr. They can be placed near your table, at your cake, on the stage or even outdoors. It's a real feature piece for your wedding and has the WOW factor. So definitely check them out.

Another one I came across Look Crafty , they are based in County Antrim. The images here are from real weddings, there is something here for all tastes. The company will of course create a setting that would suit your taste and style.

Loads of  inspiration to be found from them. I have a selection of images below from some of their weddings. Covering table decoration, chair covers, flowers, sweet carts and table plans. So again check them out.

These stunning bouquets are  from Brooch Bouquets Ireland and they are an alternative to flowers, they are more expensive but will last a lifetime. I would have liked to know more about these when I was getting married. They are feature in themselves. There are courses on offer if you wanted to make your own, what a wonderful memory to have.

I also had a little look on Ikea, as we know there are lots of options to be found here, especially if you're a DIY bride and are adding the details to the tables/church yourself.

Ikea even offer flower arranging advice, see link under the picture below. Some good ideas in terms of flowers and different sized vases, Great if you're having a garden /picnic or festival themed wedding.

Ikea also have a big collection of glasses, candles, vases and lanterns. I have featured some, the best thing to do is.. get down to Ikea and explore what's there.

Aisle Love you are another company from Dublin. They offer a one stop shop for all your wedding decorations. From the venue to the church, they have various packages on offer. So you can choose what best suits your budget. They also have some gorgeous images of weddings they have done, so you can seek inspiration from them.

We used Frog Prince for our wedding. They supplied all the flowers and venue decoration. I could not vault them, the service was excellent and the quality of their products is to a high standard. They also offer a one stop shop for wedding decoration. Again they are worth a look and visit. As always be sure of your budget going in and they will do what they can with it.

We used Love Letters for our invitations. I suppose the theme of our wedding was classy and simple so I really liked Love Letters and the simplicity of their wedding invitations. Of course they can offer the whole service from ceremony booklets, name cards, evening invites, table plan and all made to fit in with your selected theme. We chose the first invitation featured below. The quality of their invitations is to a very high standard.

Flormar Revolution Lipstick In Burgundy Mission

These are the three berry colours available    I was delighted to receive a sample of the Revolution lipstick in burgundy mission, along with the lip liner to match. These were Kindly sent from RDC Communications . Flormar  was launched this year in Ireland and it has proven to be a huge success and a popular choice for those who want affordability and quality.  I tested this lipstick out over Christmas, as I am trying to be more adventurous and try out stronger colours, as I normally tend to stick with nude tones. This lipstick is a rich berry colour with blue undertones, having these undertones makes your teeth appear whiter.   "Revolution is Flormar premium lipstick containing shea butter, cocoa, olives, a super pigment and easy 8 hr staying power" . Swatch of lipstick and liner  Application Tips: Before application ensure your lips are in good condition especially in this harsh weather. Exfoliate to remove any dry skin and apply vase

Ardgillan Castle Wedding Venue Feature

Hello all, I hope you enjoyed reading my first venue feature as I am really enjoying it. I have felt so welcomed by the venues that I have visited so far.  Please feel free to share and spread the word if this feature is of interest to any engaged couples you know. (These posts are not sponsored) and you can also follow my blog on    Facebook   |   Instagram   | Twitter  |  Snapchat  |  Pinterest On Thursday 2nd  June I went to visit venue number two, the breathtaking Ardgillan Castl e. Located between Balbriggan & Skerries. If you have ever visited here you will understand what I mean. Everytime I go to Ardgillan I literally fall in love with it all over again. Whether I go for coffee in the tea rooms, bring my daughters to the  playground or just walk around the grounds. I adore it and Ardgillan was recently featured on Lovin Dublin as the best park in Dublin to visit, now that's pretty cool. So onto the beautiful Castle, I met with Ann-Marie and Danielle and we chatt

Finally Contouring is getting the push

Anyone else as happy as me to see that contouring is not as popular in the makeup world. I personally could never get used to it. I think it looks amazing in photographers or on a night out when done right. If you prefer a more heavy look. I believe strobing has been around before it was just called highlighting then. So do not be confused!!! For me I prefer a more natural look when it comes to makeup. The whole idea with strobing is that you can see the skin and it is not heavily covered up.  I have been using the Mac Strobe Cream for a few months now. You can also strobe with powder.  Mary-Loumanizer by the Balm Mac Soft and Gentle  What I like about Mac Strobe? It makes the skin look radiant, fresh and healthy (for tired Mammies like me it's a must) It's easily applied. It's a no fuss product, there is no messing with it. It can be worn alone or added after foundation is applied. With some blush you are good to go.  Lo
