My Teeth Whitening Experience In The White House Swords

Have you ever had your teeth whitened or thought about it? This post is all about my recent visit to The White House Swords. I was recently invited out to try their one-hour advanced teeth whitening treatment. Although this post is in collaboration with The White House Swords all views expressed are my own.

I have never had my teeth whitened before but it is something I was curious about. I used to think that having the treatment done would make my teeth really sensitive.

Before I said yes to this I researched the treatment and after reading some reviews about it I was happy to go for it. The current cost is €99 as the treatment is on special offer and you can book this treatment online.

The Treatment:

Upon Arrival to The White House in Swords, I was warmly greeted by the Dental Professional, she got me to fill out a consultation form and then she explained the treatment to me.

Before my treatment commenced my teeth were examined in relation to their current shade. Based on this the shade was chosen that would be achieved from this treatment.

Before treatment, my top teeth were a few shades whiter in comparison to my bottom teeth. As we got started my glasses and super glam cheek extractor were put on me.

The treatment is carried out in 3 cycles, my 3 cycles consisted of 10minutes. Before the laser was put on my teeth, the whitening gel was applied.

The therapist checked on my teeth during each cycle to assess my progress. After each cycle was complete she then reapplied a layer of the whitening gel and started the process again.

A Television was in the treatment so the time flew by. Overall I found the treatment to be very comfortable, it was near the end that I felt a bit of discomfort with the cheek retractor in, but that is to be expected. Your lips can get dry so to help with this the therapist applies lip balm and that really helped with mine.

Post Treatment:

After the treatment, I was advised to stick with white foods for 24 hours. It is vital to stick to this as you can undo the results from your treatment. Definitely get your coffee or tea fix before you go in. White wine is permitted so it's not all bad, basically, don't eat anything that would stain a white top. You can read more about the aftercare here  My bottom teeth felt a tiny bit sensitive after but it went after 24hours.

It is important to note that the longevity of this treatment depends on the
individual's lifestyle. e.g.  foods they eat, how often they brush their teeth, if they are a strong coffee/ tea drinker and if they smoke etc.

It is also recommended to use a whitening toothpaste to help maintain the whiteness of your teeth. Another good tip is to use a straw when drinking coffee, tea, and fizzy drinks this will help minimize the contact they have with your teeth.

The whitening treatment does not replace your routine dental visit and the treatment will not remove plaque. It is designed to remove build up of staining on the teeth. It would be a good idea to get your dental clean and check carried out before treatment. I had my last dental clean and check two months prior to getting this treatment.

The treatment does not damage the enamel, I wouldn't have gotten it done if there was a risk of that happening. I value my teeth way too much and all ingredients in the gel are natural.

If you are a bride to be and your thinking of getting the treatment done before your wedding. It is recommended to get it done 3 weeks before your wedding, this leaves time to get a top-up treatment before your big day.

  1. Gratitude for sharing your own teeth whitening treatment. I am so pleased with these details. Even I am going to have the whitening treatment from a reputed dentist Redondo Beach but was looking for genuine experiences of others as I was doubtful about the results. But now will visit the dentist with full confidence.

Flormar Revolution Lipstick In Burgundy Mission

These are the three berry colours available    I was delighted to receive a sample of the Revolution lipstick in burgundy mission, along with the lip liner to match. These were Kindly sent from RDC Communications . Flormar  was launched this year in Ireland and it has proven to be a huge success and a popular choice for those who want affordability and quality.  I tested this lipstick out over Christmas, as I am trying to be more adventurous and try out stronger colours, as I normally tend to stick with nude tones. This lipstick is a rich berry colour with blue undertones, having these undertones makes your teeth appear whiter.   "Revolution is Flormar premium lipstick containing shea butter, cocoa, olives, a super pigment and easy 8 hr staying power" . Finally Contouring is getting the push

Anyone else as happy as me to see that contouring is not as popular in the makeup world. I personally could never get used to it. I think it looks amazing in photographers or on a night out when done right. If you prefer a more heavy look. I believe strobing has been around before it was just called highlighting then. So do not be confused!!! For me I prefer a more natural look when it comes to makeup. The whole idea with strobing is that you can see the skin and it is not heavily covered up.  I have been using the Mac Strobe Cream for a few months now. You can also strobe with powder.  Mary-Loumanizer by the Balm Mac Soft and Gentle  What I like about Mac Strobe? It makes the skin look radiant, fresh and healthy (for tired Mammies like me it's a must) It's easily applied. It's a no fuss product, there is no messing with it. It can be worn alone or added after foundation is applied. With some blush you are good to go.  Lo
