Crazy Angel Tan

If you have been following my blog for awhile you will know that I am a tan lover and that I am always open to trying different tanning products. I was delighted to try out Crazy Angel Tan and I was kindly sent the Goddess Set to test out. This is also a brand of a tan that I had not tried before. *This is not a sponsored post.

Crazy Angel Tan recently launched two Christmas gift sets The Goddess and Desire. My review is on the Goddess set. The set includes a 100ml bottle of the Gilded Goddess Tanning Oil and a 200ml bottle of the Supreme Goddess moisturising tan extender.

Gilded Goddess dry oil tan:

I had previously used dry oil tan (from a different brand), I found the scent to be overpowering and it put me off using other oil based tanning products. So before I applied Crazy Angel I had a smell and it was divine. It smells like berries and the tan is infused with floral fragrances and a hint of fruit.

For the application, I used a tanning mit. The Oil glided onto my skin effortlessly and the coverage was very good, a little goes a long way. The oil is clear, so be mindful of where you have previously applied so as not to over do it.

Post application, the oil leaves a lovely glow to the skin. *Tanning tip, use a foundation brush to apply oil to your feet and hands. I put a small amount on my mit and then I used my brush to apply. It ensures even coverage.

The tan develops within 4-6 hours and after this it can then be washed off. I tried this out as I was curious to see if it worked and I wanted to ensure that half of the tan did not go down the drain. I washed it off  lightly and I did not use any body wash as it can wash off more of the tan.

The result was a soft golden glow, the only part of my body that I would have liked to go darker on was my legs. To darken my legs I always apply bronzer gel. I always add extra tan my legs no matter what brand of tan I use.

You could also apply this tan before you go out as it is not overly sticky on the skin.

These images below show the tan after it started to develop, I also have no make-up on I just applied a small amount of the oil to my face.

To maintain the tan I used the Supreme Goddess moisturising tan extender, this maintains the tan and it also has a lovely floral scent to it. The tan faded away perfectly, there was no hard scrubbing required to get it off the skin.

If you are thinking of doing you own tan for your wedding day then I would recommend this tan. As you can see from the images it develops into a lovely golden glow, of course ensure that you do a few test runs before your big day.

Crazy Angel Tan gets a big thumbs up for me, it is the perfect set to unleash your "Inner Goddess" this festive season. The Gilded Goddess bottle is glass and this adds a luxury and special feel to it.

The sets retail at €21.90, for stockists check out  Crazy Angel Tan .

Flormar Revolution Lipstick In Burgundy Mission

These are the three berry colours available    I was delighted to receive a sample of the Revolution lipstick in burgundy mission, along with the lip liner to match. These were Kindly sent from RDC Communications . Flormar  was launched this year in Ireland and it has proven to be a huge success and a popular choice for those who want affordability and quality.  I tested this lipstick out over Christmas, as I am trying to be more adventurous and try out stronger colours, as I normally tend to stick with nude tones. This lipstick is a rich berry colour with blue undertones, having these undertones makes your teeth appear whiter.   "Revolution is Flormar premium lipstick containing shea butter, cocoa, olives, a super pigment and easy 8 hr staying power" . Swatch of lipstick and liner  Application Tips: Before application ensure your lips are in good condition especially in this harsh weather. Exfoliate to remove any dry skin and apply vase

Finally Contouring is getting the push

Anyone else as happy as me to see that contouring is not as popular in the makeup world. I personally could never get used to it. I think it looks amazing in photographers or on a night out when done right. If you prefer a more heavy look. I believe strobing has been around before it was just called highlighting then. So do not be confused!!! For me I prefer a more natural look when it comes to makeup. The whole idea with strobing is that you can see the skin and it is not heavily covered up.  I have been using the Mac Strobe Cream for a few months now. You can also strobe with powder.  Mary-Loumanizer by the Balm Mac Soft and Gentle  What I like about Mac Strobe? It makes the skin look radiant, fresh and healthy (for tired Mammies like me it's a must) It's easily applied. It's a no fuss product, there is no messing with it. It can be worn alone or added after foundation is applied. With some blush you are good to go.  Lo
