B.Tan Tanning Everyday Humans

b.tan is for everyone who believes tanning should be simple, it’s not rocket science after all.

You may have heard of b.tan , it is the new to Ireland and it is here to make you Tanned AF.
b.tan is an Australian tanning brand and it comes in a wide range of fake tan types and it has 100% natural dha.

b.tan is……

I was kindly gifted some of the b.tan products and I have been trying them out. Although the products were gifted to me all opinions are my own.  Let’s get started with the products, I was sent the following products  from the range:

"it’s love a daily moisturiser that gives you a glow"

"sweet sunset vibes"  a light gradual tan

"cosmic candy glow" a medium gradual tan

"ain’t nobody got time for that" 9 minute tan

The bottles are a generous size at 200ml and the price point is great, with products starting at €10.00. I love that each product has its own unique name and message.

The b.tan instructors to get tanning:

Get naked or at least naked enough to tan your super-hot bod!

Make sure your skin is clean, exfoliated and dry apply with our mitt!

It will make you feel special a little bit sexy and not to mention glowing! (Literally how I feel after tanning)

With the amazing branding and super fab instructions when it comes it down to the nitty gritty of using the products, I know you are asking are they worth it? I can tell you that yes they are!!  My advice when it comes to tanning products is finding one that suits your skin type, this is key. When it comes to tan colour, my preference is a sun kissed golden glow.

ain’t nobody got time for that 9 minute tan  €14.99

This tan develops in 9 minutes, you let it develop rinse for 45 seconds under luke warm water and you are good to go. If you want it darker leave for longer, I left it on longer for over 5 hours as I was in Mammy mode so I had a few bits to do. It is mousse tan and the colour is a silvery grey.
I found it applied well to my skin and it developed nicely over those hours and when I rinsed it off I was left with a lovely golden glow. I was very happy with the wear off also as it faded gradually and lasted through showers. I then exfoliated to remove the last remaining bits. There was no cracking or scaly bits as it faded off, which I was delighted with, nothing worse than scaly looking tan as it wears off.

cosmic candy glow a medium gradual tan  €14.99

This a gradual medium tan, application wise it is a clear mousse so there is no colour guide when applying. If you are new to tanning I would advise getting used to applying before you try this. I left this on overnight and let it develop, the result was a golden glow similar to ain’t nobody got time for that 9 minute tan.  I rinsed it off and again the developed colour was fab and it did not go down the drain which can happen with fake tans. There was no tackiness either after application. I applied and put clothes on as it was during the day. If you wanted to build on the colour and go darker, apply another layer and leave overnight, I would do this for my legs as I find I always need to build tan on them.

Sweet sunset vibes is a light gradual mousse tan and it is clear also. If you prefer a light glow you could try this one.

it’s  love a daily moisturiser that gives you a glow €14.99

To maintain my tan, I applied the daily moisturiser which is a clear cream that you apply with your hands and don't forget to rinse your hands after application. I applied this on day three of my tan and it brought the colour back up again, it also smells divine. Great for maintaining your tan or you could apply on its own, also a handy product for holidays to give a little glow.

So there you have it my view on some of the b.tan products, yes it rocks and will definitely have you Tanned AF. A lovely tanning brand that suited my skin and developed perfectly.Try it out for yourself b.tan is stocked in Penneys, Dunnes Stores and selected pharmacies. Follow b.tan Ireland on Instagram for all the updates.

The Castle was renovated and re-opened in 2014.  There are up to 150 weddings a year here, so you guessed right, it is a highly sought after venue. As always early booking is essential, do not put booking your venue on the ...
