Nasty Gal Bridal and Occasion Wear

Are you a bride to be looking for some bridal wear inspiration? If your answer is Yes, then I have you covered. This post is in collaboration with Nasty Gal an online fashion brand. In this post, I am featuring three looks that I selected from their very fabulous bridal & occasion wear collection.

The Nasty Gal bridal & occasion wear collection is a super affordable range, with gorgeous looks perfect for day two of your wedding, honeymoon and also includes bridesmaids dresses. Nasty Gal also sell accessories and heels, perfect for finishing off your special outfit. There really is something for everyone in this collection.
Nasty Gal started in a tiny San Francisco apartment stacked with killer vintage, a single laptop and an eBay account. Ten years later, we’ve outgrown that apartment, moved to LA, and today we’re bigger and better than ever. We now carry new clothing, shoes and accessories under our own label–all for gals who know how to own it and have the confidence to just be themselves.
If you’re in the middle of wedding planning you will know that sometimes the honeymoon/day after your wedding outfits can be an afterthought as you are so focused on everything else for the big day. Naturally, some panic might set in when you realise you need some outfits. To help ease the pressure I have selected three looks that will take you from the day after your wedding to your honeymoon. Size-wise I went for my normal size 12 in the dresses.

First up is this white one-shoulder linen dress. A fab dress for honeymoon or day two of your wedding. I felt very elegant in this dress and it is lightweight which is perfect for the heat.

I paired with barely there heels but you could easily wear sandals/ wedges or add a belt to bring in the waste.  Another styling option team with a blazer to create another wearable outfit. I wore spanks under the dress as it is figure hugging and the spanks do help smooth everything out.

This dress just screamed bridal to me here is the link to shop  Lay it on the line one shoulder dress

Another beautiful dress, satin material with a plunging neckline and wide sleeves. If a plunging neckline is not for you then there is always the option of sewing it up it a little bit. This will give you extra chest security. In choosing this dress I stepped outside of my own comfort zone and I am glad I did. Stepping outside your fashion comfort zone does work.

I paired this dress with the same barely-there heels as before as a neutral colour heel works best with this dress. I feel that this dress does not need many accessories as the plunging neckline is the feature.

Another light dress that would be perfect for honeymoon, day two of your wedding or as a bridesmaid option. I think the ankle length is perfect for bridesmaid and it would suit a summer wedding. For boob safety, the options are boob tape or an adhesive bra, both of these options would work best with this dress due to the neckline.

For my last dress, I choose Don't Catch The Bouquet Off The Shoulder Midi Dress, I did not picture this on me as the sizing was not right for me. I still wanted to feature it as it is a gorgeous dress, I think if I had of went for the size 14 it would have been a much better fit for me.

I am a lover of off the shoulder dresses and this one ticked all the boxes for me, again another fab look for your honeymoon/day two celebrations. Featuring a ruffle detailing at the neckline and a bow tie closure at the bust, it’s so pretty.

So there you have it my three looks from Nasty Gal

Flormar Revolution Lipstick In Burgundy Mission

These are the three berry colours available    I was delighted to receive a sample of the Revolution lipstick in burgundy mission, along with the lip liner to match. These were Kindly sent from RDC Communications . Flormar  was launched this year in Ireland and it has proven to be a huge success and a popular choice for those who want affordability and quality.  I tested this lipstick out over Christmas, as I am trying to be more adventurous and try out stronger colours, as I normally tend to stick with nude tones. This lipstick is a rich berry colour with blue undertones, having these undertones makes your teeth appear whiter.   "Revolution is Flormar premium lipstick containing shea butter, cocoa, olives, a super pigment and easy 8 hr staying power" . Swatch of lipstick and liner  Application Tips: Before application ensure your lips are in good condition especially in this harsh weather. Exfoliate to remove any dry skin and apply vase

Finally Contouring is getting the push

Anyone else as happy as me to see that contouring is not as popular in the makeup world. I personally could never get used to it. I think it looks amazing in photographers or on a night out when done right. If you prefer a more heavy look. I believe strobing has been around before it was just called highlighting then. So do not be confused!!! For me I prefer a more natural look when it comes to makeup. The whole idea with strobing is that you can see the skin and it is not heavily covered up.  I have been using the Mac Strobe Cream for a few months now. You can also strobe with powder.  Mary-Loumanizer by the Balm Mac Soft and Gentle  What I like about Mac Strobe? It makes the skin look radiant, fresh and healthy (for tired Mammies like me it's a must) It's easily applied. It's a no fuss product, there is no messing with it. It can be worn alone or added after foundation is applied. With some blush you are good to go.  Lo
