Ziaja Skincare

Hello all, this is a post that I have been meaning to write for awhile. I wanted to share Ziaja skincare with you. A brand I was introduced to last year through blogging and one that I really like. When it comes to skincare I personally like to mix my brands from affordable to high end depending on the need. I am in my mid-thirties so good skincare is vital to me.

The Ziaja products are affordable and they work, well in my experience anyway. So what is Ziaja? Firstly it's pronounced ji-ya I had difficulty in pronouncing it myself so I was delighted when it was broken down like this.

Ziaja is a Polish brand and they sell over 1,000 products for face, hair and body.  Products available are for both adults and children and they are made with natural active ingredients. All products are dermatologically tested and hypo-allergenic and they are not tested on animals.

Children's Skincare Range

The price point is very affordable ranging from 69cent to €8.99. Some of the top sellers in Ireland include the goat's milk range, cupuaucu range and jasmine anti-ageing range.

Below I am sharing what I have tried, tested and enjoy using. I have linked the products mentioned to the site, so you can read about them further. As always with skincare, use what works for you.

The Cupuacu range

Cupuacu (pronounced koo-poo-ah-soo!) is a hot new Brazilian skincare ingredient that makes moisturisers much more powerful and has many therapeutic benefits for your skin – it’s referred to as ‘the pharmacy in a fruit’ by Brazilians because of its numerous health benefits and is also listed as the Brazilian national fruit.

One of my favourite from the range is the bronzing body lotion at just €7.99 for 300ml size, I applied after my shower and a lovely golden colour built up, it is perfect for the summer months. Cupuacu range

Sensitive Skin enzyme peeling

My skin would be very sensitive and I am very careful in relation to what I use on it. When I think of a peel the words dry and flaxy come to mind. This peel is very gentle and it has no strong odour, I use it once a week on my face.
It gently dissolves dead skin cells and it leaves my skin feeling fresh and brighter. Priced at €4.99.Enzyme Peeling

Goats Milk Body Lotion

This cream is absolutely gorgeous it melts into the skin.  Both my Mam and sister love the Goats Milk range and they are extremely picky about their skin care products. Priced at just €5.99. Goats Milk Body Lotion

Firming Nigth Cream

I apply this every night after my face serum. It is lightweight, nourishing and suitable for sensitive skin. Firming Night Cream

Manuka Tree Cleansing Gel

This is gentle and soap free a little goes a long way and at €4.49 it is a great product to have. Manuka Tree Cleansing Gel

Another great way to try some of the products is to buy samples, you can purchase them online along with all of the products from Original Beauty.
Ziaja is also available in selected pharmacies nationwide and it recently launched in Dunnes Stores in Cornelscourt.

So there you are an introduction to Ziaja skincare
Let me know if you try out the products.

Bellingham Castle Wedding Venue

The Entrance  Hello all, this post feature will be the final one for now as part of my wedding venue feature. With this feature the spotlight is on Bellingham Castle which I fell in love with it, of course, each of the venues has charmed me in different ways. As you will see from the pictures the was shining for my  visit which made it extremely easy for me to take pictures of this breathtaking venue. I received a very warm welcome and I was shown around by the lovely Ciara. She explained that herself and Patrick look after the needs of Brides & Grooms. They are on hand for the run up to your big day.  The Castle is, as you would expect, extremely opulent. The Castle was renovated and re-opened in 2014.  There are up to 150 weddings a year here, so you guessed right, it is a highly sought after venue. As always early booking is essential, do not put booking your venue on the ...

Finally Contouring is getting the push

Anyone else as happy as me to see that contouring is not as popular in the makeup world. I personally could never get used to it. I think it looks amazing in photographers or on a night out when done right. If you prefer a more heavy look. I believe strobing has been around before it was just called highlighting then. So do not be confused!!! For me I prefer a more natural look when it comes to makeup. The whole idea with strobing is that you can see the skin and it is not heavily covered up.  I have been using the Mac Strobe Cream for a few months now. You can also strobe with powder.  Mary-Loumanizer by the Balm Mac Soft and Gentle  What I like about Mac Strobe? It makes the skin look radiant, fresh and healthy (for tired Mammies like me it's a must) It's easily applied. It's a no fuss product, there is no messing with it. It can be worn alone or added after foundation is applied. With some blush you are good to go. ...
