Boohoo AW16 Collection

A few weeks ago I went along to the Boohoo Christmas & AW16 press day. The collection that is coming through for Christmas & AW16 is very impressive. Further down this post, you will see a snapshot of what you can expect and I promise you will not be disappointed.

This collection also features the much-anticipated collaboration with Jordan Woods. The collection caters for women of all shapes and sizes and it goes up to a size 24.

"This has been an incredible opportunity to design a collection that embraces all body types," said Woods. ”There were points in my life growing up when I wanted to dress like other girls my age, but I couldn't find clothes in my size that were as cute as theirs.”

These collections feature all of the trends from street style, military, 90's, glam, sports luxe, sequin, faux fur, denim, metallics, bomber jackets, biker jackets, animal print, shift dresses, lace, cosy knits, floral embroidered detail on jeans and dresses, evening wear is all about the body-con,floor length dresses, wide leg trousers, sheer fabric and co-ords.

Colour palettes in the collections vary from rose gold, black, nude, shimmer, soft gold, blush, grey, crisp white and soft olive .

Pull your look together with sequin oversized clutch bags, killer heels and statement necklaces, you know how I adore a good statement piece and it can really make a look. Boohoo has you covered as there is something for everyone to ensure you standout for the season ahead.

You will have spotted these looks on the high-street already and you’re probably wearing elements of them. As with all trends, go with what works for you and take elements from each to suit your style.

As you will see from the pictures the was shining for my  visit which made it extremely easy for me to take pictures of this breathtaking venue. I received a very warm welcome and I was shown around by the lovely Ciara. She explained that herself and Patrick look after the needs of Brides & Grooms. They are on hand for the run up to your big day.  The Castle is, as you would expect, extremely opulent. The Castle was renovated and re-opened in 2014.  There are up to 150 weddings a year here, so you guessed right, it is a highly sought after venue. As always early booking is essential, do not put booking your venue on the ...

These venues and activities will ease the stress of planning so enjoy the read. Organising a hen party can be a very difficult and tiring task. If you have been tasked as the hen party organiser you probably have a sense of the pressure already. My top tip is to make the whole planning process as easy as possible for yourself, especially if you're not used to planning and organising. The venue and activities that you choose will help take that stress away so ensure that you choose well. Also bear in mind that the Bride needs to feel special and relaxed.
