Hello, I hope all is good with you. I cannot believe it is May already, sure we are nearly halfway through the year. I for one am dreaming of my Holidays and some sunshine. It will be nice to get away from it all, are you feeling the same, any nice holiday plans? So for this post I am talking Jessup Makeup brushes, which can be purchased online. I purchased mine one's from eBay, as it is a source I always trust and if you're not happy with the product you can return them and get your money back.
I have been hearing about these brushes for a good while now and I decided to give them a go, as it is a very affordable brand. After reading some reviews I got a good overall sense that they would be a good buy. I opted for the pink 10 piece Kabuki set, containing foundation, eyeshadow & blend brushes. They come in various colours and sets (link here).
There are lots to choose from, just search Jessup and all of the options will come up. My set cost €14 including delivery and it took 4 weeks to arrive, this was fine with me as they come from China.

My thoughts:
They arrived extremely well packaged and you also receive a care card with them. This advises to wash the brushes before use as there is smell from them that comes from the plastic packaging and travel. With any new brushes you should always wash them no matter what.
I washed them lightly and they dried perfectly. The feel and quality of the bushes are very similar to ones I already have which I paid more for.
I for one am becoming more aware of the generic branding that is out there. Some high end companies buy in brushes and products and they add their brand mark to them. This is something that is being highlighted more and more in the beauty industry.
I really like the foundation and blush brushes, I would use these daily. The eyeshadow brushes are slightly on the big side for me to use for blending. They good for highlighting if you want to be more precise with the application. I know there are smaller blending brushes for the eyes so I might try them out.
My verdict yes is YES they are worth the purchase and especially if you're on a budget. The way I see it is ,we are all not makeup artists so spending a fortune on brushes does not appeal to me personally. Over all I am delighted with them and I will definitely purchase again.
