Organic Surge Review

Last Month I was kindly sent some Organic Surge products to try as I could not attend the launch night. I will admit that I had not heard of this brand before, but I was interested in trying some of the products due the fact that they are organic. For me organic skincare is always good skincare and Organic Surge provide a diverse range of products for your face, skin, hair, body and baby. The price point of the products is so good, seriously the products start at at €5. The range is being haled for being both affordable and luxurious.

Organic Surge is here to add a new level of enjoyment to your daily beauty routine with a range of truly natural products designed to balance, nourish and boost complexions while protecting precious skin.  All Organic Surge products are packed full of natural and organic ingredients that blend natural hydrators, antioxidants and sumptuous essential oils to deliver radiant sensational skin, naturally.

Organic Surge has been haled as an affordable, organic and all natural skincare range. Celebrity fans of the range include Tamsin Outhwaite, Lisa Eldridge, Angellica Bell, Rosie Fortescue, Katie Piper and Sian Welby.

Below are the products I have been using and the benefits of each each.

Super-Intensive Daily Moisturiser nourishes, conditions and rehydrates dry skin. For skin that needs an extra surge of moisture this intensely hydrating cream is packed with natural humectants for the ultimate boost to restore dryness. With the additional benefits of Aloe Vera to repair, sooth and moisturise, skin will feel and look super soft.

Ultra Light Oil Control Lotion €24.99.

For normal to dry or mature skin

Organic Surge's premium Extra Care range for Timeless Skin Solutions. This natural facial Oil Control Lotion is feather-light in order to protect skin from environmental influences, allowing it to develop and maintain a balanced level of naturally produced protective oils.

Packed with skin loving nutrients, this super effective, yet lightweight natural lotion will replenish and soothe your skin by infusing it with an organic blend of argan leaf, damask rose, geranium, safflower and sweet orange oils. The high-end formula feels velvety soft and leaves skin with a healthy radiance whilst supporting your skin's natural age-defying defences.

What I thought:

These products literally smell like a spa. The scent of the essential oils is very relaxing I think. I am always wary about trying new products because you need to be careful when it comes to your skincare routine.

I really like the ultra light control lotion, I find myself reaching for that a lot. I have been applying it during the day. It is very light, spreads really well and it leaves a slight glow to the skin. This is also good to use as a base for your makeup. It has rose in it and anything with rose I love, it is so soothing and good for the skin. So all around a nice product for the skin and I like how my skin feels and looks after using it and it helps my foundation stay in place.

The intensive moisturiser is exactly that, the cream is rich and thick and you only need a little of it. For me I would not be using this cream everyday as I found it too rich for my skin. I did have some dry skin around my t- zone and applied a small amount of it there and it did improve the area.

Will I purchase more products, yes I will, for sure. Thanks to RDC for sending out the items.

You can now pick up Organic Surge products at Allcare pharmacies in Dublin, Cork, Kildare and Louth. For additional stockist enquiries contact Blue Sky Products on (01) 4610645.

Bellingham Castle Wedding Venue

The Entrance  Hello all, this post feature will be the final one for now as part of my wedding venue feature. With this feature the spotlight is on Bellingham Castle which I fell in love with it, of course, each of the venues has charmed me in different ways. As you will see from the pictures the was shining for my  visit which made it extremely easy for me to take pictures of this breathtaking venue. I received a very warm welcome and I was shown around by the lovely Ciara. She explained that herself and Patrick look after the needs of Brides & Grooms. They are on hand for the run up to your big day.  The Castle is, as you would expect, extremely opulent. The Castle was renovated and re-opened in 2014.  There are up to 150 weddings a year here, so you guessed right, it is a highly sought after venue. As always early booking is essential, do not put booking your venue on the ...

Finally Contouring is getting the push

Anyone else as happy as me to see that contouring is not as popular in the makeup world. I personally could never get used to it. I think it looks amazing in photographers or on a night out when done right. If you prefer a more heavy look. I believe strobing has been around before it was just called highlighting then. So do not be confused!!! For me I prefer a more natural look when it comes to makeup. The whole idea with strobing is that you can see the skin and it is not heavily covered up.  I have been using the Mac Strobe Cream for a few months now. You can also strobe with powder.  Mary-Loumanizer by the Balm Mac Soft and Gentle  What I like about Mac Strobe? It makes the skin look radiant, fresh and healthy (for tired Mammies like me it's a must) It's easily applied. It's a no fuss product, there is no messing with it. It can be worn alone or added after foundation is applied. With some blush you are good to go. ...
