It's all in the detail

Image from Frogprince

When I was getting married the detail was really important to me. Our guests or even my Husband for that matter may not have noticed or remembered the little things, but I did. Things like chair covers, chair ribbons, lights, center pieces and church decoration.

While I was out today in the Pavilions Shopping Centre I spotted some lovely pieces in Dunne's that would add something extra to your tables ,Church or ceremony venue.

I am always drawn to lanterns I do not know what it is about them. I even bought two large white ones to for my wedding venue in Roganstown. I had this vision of  placing them on the balcony whicht was attached to the room. The balcony was much bigger then I thought and I ended up keeping them, so now I have them in my house. If you purchase or make your own decorations you can add them to your home or give them to your bridal party/close friends as a little gift after the wedding (that's if some of the guest do not take them them) we all know this happens!!

Lantern in my house I just added lights and candles.

We added tulle and flowers to our chairs in the Church just to give them a lift.

Another DIY idea, add  ribbon to the chair's at your venue.

From my wedding, the back drop, flowers and chair covers are all from Forgprince

Some more ideas from  Frogprince. I can highly recommend them, they can add a little or alot depending on your budget. I loved the chair covers they supplied. They fit to the chair, unlike the covers that your venue may provide these can tend to get loose. They are definitely worth the extra cost.

Bellingham Castle Wedding Venue

The Entrance  Hello all, this post feature will be the final one for now as part of my wedding venue feature. With this feature the spotlight is on Bellingham Castle which I fell in love with it, of course, each of the venues has charmed me in different ways. As you will see from the pictures the was shining for my  visit which made it extremely easy for me to take pictures of this breathtaking venue. I received a very warm welcome and I was shown around by the lovely Ciara. She explained that herself and Patrick look after the needs of Brides & Grooms. They are on hand for the run up to your big day.  The Castle is, as you would expect, extremely opulent. The Castle was renovated and re-opened in 2014.  There are up to 150 weddings a year here, so you guessed right, it is a highly sought after venue. As always early booking is essential, do not put booking your venue on the ...

These venues and activities will ease the stress of planning so enjoy the read. Organising a hen party can be a very difficult and tiring task. If you have been tasked as the hen party organiser you probably have a sense of the pressure already. My top tip is to make the whole planning process as easy as possible for yourself, especially if you're not used to planning and organising. The venue and activities that you choose will help take that stress away so ensure that you choose well. Also bear in mind that the Bride needs to feel special and relaxed. Even if there is mayhem going on in the background don't let her see it. Listoke Distillery & Gin School:...
