Don't Look Back

Hello, all and Happy New Year. I decided to take a break from blogging for the month of December. With the Christmas hype in full swing, I felt that there was enough going on, to be honest, a lot of blogging was around buying and I did not want to add to the commercialism of it all. I also try my best to balance family, working and blogging. It can all get jumbled up at times and I am finding it is so important to be mindful. For me, December was the perfect time to sit back a bit.

This year is my second year blogging but it feels way longer (but in a really good way). Last year my blog grew in terms of who I met, events I attended, and my blog content. I decided to push myself more in terms of creating new and fresh content, that I felt you the readers would enjoy. It was hard work but I really enjoyed it, visiting wedding venues and bridal shops was a real highlight and it is an element I will continue with this year.

What topped the year off was making the decision to host a workshop it is entitled "Enhance What's Yours". I am extremely proud of it and also blown away from the support we have received from people we have met through our blogging journey. Myself and Roanna from "She's So Dapper" decided to combine the elements of our blogs together. To bring you a super workshop, it is going to be a fantastic day out for all. Our message is "Work wth you have, enhance what is your's ladies because you are fabulous in your own way" I met Roanna through blogging and we clicked straight away. Now we are about to embark on a very special journey together, purchase your tickets here   x

The alternative journey you take leads you to people, places and things that you never would have imagined where possible. It is amazing I also think that positivity and focusing on you is key. Never mind what everyone else is doing around you. Support is vital from your nearest and dearest. My Husband has supported me from the very start and without him, I would not have been able to put all the time into it that I have.

Can it be hard?,yes, Did I feel like giving up? Eh yes, Was I drained from trying to get the balance right, yes. Do I love this crazy world of blogging and social media, you bet I do. Am I ready to take the leap?, ABSOULTLEY.

Love & Sparkle

Hello all, for this post, I am going to share some fabulous alternative hen party ideas. This post has been on my to-do list for a long time now, if you're stuck on ideas for something different then don't worry because I have you covered, from Gin School to Glamping and everything in between. These venues and activities will ease the stress of planning so enjoy the read. Organising a hen party can be a very difficult and tiring task. If you have been tasked as the hen party organiser you probably have a sense of the pressure already. My top tip is to make the whole planning process as easy as possible for yourself, especially if you're not used to planning and organising. The venue and activities that you choose will help take that stress away so ensure that you choose well. Also bear in mind that the Bride needs to feel special and relaxed. Even if there is mayhem going on in the background don't let her see it. Listoke Distillery & Gin School:...

Kiehl's Apothecary Preparations Review

Image from Kiehl's website Hello all, this post is dedicated to Kiehl's Apothecary Preparations. What is that I hear you ask? Apothecary preparations is a high level of Personalized skincare. It addresses the following skincare concerns: WRINKLE REDUCTION TEXTURE REFINING VISIBLE REDNESS NEUTRALIZING PORE MINIMIZING BRIGHTENING I find the older I get (mid-thirties ouch) the more focused I am on my skin, I have invested in my skincare more than I used to, by adding in some high-end products. I believe in paying for a good serum. Although this product was kindly sent to me to try out, all views expressed are my own. In terms of using Kiehl's, this is my first time to use the brand and I was really intrigued to see what it was like on the skin. Kiehls as a brand has been active since 1851 so I think it's safe to say that they know what they are doing and they know what works. This range takes the brand back to its roots of creating persona...

The Bridal Studio Drogheda

Hello all, I am back with my bridal shop feature and I have recently visited two bridal shops. I was so excited to visit them, I get so much joy from doing these features. Getting to meet and chat to the fabulous Women behind these shops is a real pleasure for me. I always come away feeling energised and I  also  learn from it.  I just know you are going to love both of these shops. When visiting I got the insider information on trends, tips for brides and what you can expect when you visit these shops. *This post is not sponsored*  This post is dedicated to The Bridal Studio in Drogheda .  From the outside, the studio appears modest in size but once you enter it you will be pleasantly surprised as it has so much space. It is also spotless and the dresses are kept in immaculate condition, as they are covered in a clear bag when hung up. This ensures that you, the bride are trying on clean and fresh dresses. They have a...
