From Pinterest To Your Wardrobe

I I am absolutely loving Pinterest. I will totally admit that I have only recently discovered it's brilliance and created an account a few months ago. It's safe to say that I love it, (why did it take me so long?)It is the perfect platform for gathering and sharing images. My favorite pin searches are for fashion and wedding inspiration.  For this post I have selected three fab looks and recreated a version of them. You can purchase online or from the highstreet. The looks are bang on trend for AW. Featuring ponchos, fringing, pleather, over the knee boots and duster coats. You can take all of the pieces together or just one or two depending on your own personal style and taste.  These looks can be casual or dressy. Using some tweaks, the more casual can take you through to the night. My top tips - Look :1 Switch the ankle boots for heels and the poncho for a blazer. Look 2: As shown in the image with the grey dress. Change the boots for strappy heels (not cra...

Shoes For The Bride

So let's talk shoes, have you thought about your wedding shoes, do you want plain, coloured, sandals, peep toe, low heel or high heel, the list can go on and on. If you're wearing a tea-length wedding dress your feet will be on show, so picking the right shoes is even more important. One tip is to have your shoes bought when it comes to your wedding dress fittings. This will ensure that your dress is fitted perfectly when it comes to the length. The last thing you want is to be tripping over your dress on the big day. The same applies to the bridesmaid dresses and the groomsmen for their suites, footwear is very, very important. I  have a selection of beautiful shoes for you to look at and who knows, "the pair" could be in there (how exciting is that!!). I have even included some Sophia Webster, just because her shoes are the dream.  Do any of them tickle your fancy? Love & Sparkle xxx     . Asos Asos ...

My Favourite Skincare Products

This post is focusing on my favourite skincare products. I have been trying some new ones,so of course I had to share them with you all. Some of these I have mentioned before but I wanted to go into more detail this time. First up  Image Vital C Anti Aging Hydrating Serum , this is perfect for environmentally damaged, sensitive and rosacea prone skin. I have become a big fan of Image since getting my first facial done back in July. My skin literally glowed straight after the facial and it lasts for days after.Yes it really is that good. I was given samples to try at home that were suited to my skin type and I noticed a big difference from using them. I had another facial a few weeks ago as part of a package in Jule Spa (read about that  here ). I had wanted to get a really good serum, so I decided to treat myself and purchase and oh my, it did not disappoint. What I like: The smell is amazing, it's like oranges. (warning you might want to eat it) T...

Bridesmaid Dresses

Allure  Apart from shopping for your wedding dress, the second most important and often stressful part is choosing the right bridesmaid dresses. More tips about wedding dress shopping can be read in my It's all about the dress  post. Now more than ever the look of having two different style dresses is acceptable and more brides are going for this look. I did give my Sisters this option when we were shopping for theirs but they choose to go with the same. Another option is to have the same style dress but in different colours or one could be just slightly different, like the image above. What does not work for me is having two or three different style dresses, I think it can look messy and not very polished.     So I have selected a number of dresses from four different suppliers. The majority of my selection are floor length, but you can get some of them in short styles from the likes of Mori Lee and Allure. I have chosen classic, sexy and feminine...
